The NGK ILKR9Q7G is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for the Hyundai and Kia turbocharged petrol engines, the 1.0 T-GDi and 1.4 T-GDi. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement.
Turbocharged direct-injection engines run higher cylinder pressures than a naturally aspirated engine, which asks more of the plug. The heat range 9 here is deliberately colder than a typical NA plug, and the iridium fine-wire centre electrode holds a precise gap under that load.

How many do I need? The 1.0 T-GDi is a three-cylinder and takes three plugs. The 1.4 T-GDi is a four-cylinder and takes four.
This is for the turbo petrol only. If you run the 1.2 Kappa naturally aspirated engine, that takes the LKR7BIX-P instead. Message us with your variant and year and we will confirm.

Fitting note
Supplied pre-gapped. Do not re-gap unless you have checked it and found it out of specification, and then move only the outer ground electrode. On turbo engines torque matters: thread in by hand, then tighten to your service manual figure.
