NGK SILZKR7B-11 Laser Iridium Spark Plug for Hyundai Elantra 1.8 (2012 to 2016) & Tucson 2.0

The NGK SILZKR7B-11 is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for the Hyundai Elantra 1.8 Beta and Tucson 2.0 Theta. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement.

The iridium fine-wire centre electrode gives smoother idle, cleaner combustion and better cold starts, and holds its gap far longer than a nickel plug.

Fitment guidance

• Hyundai Elantra 1.8L Beta (model years 2012 to 2016)
• Hyundai Tucson 2.0L Theta

This is not the Kappa plug. If you run the 1.2 Kappa in a Grand i10, Xcent, i20 or Aura, that takes the LKR7BIX-P. The 1.0 and 1.4 turbo petrols take the ILKR9Q7G. Message us with your engine and year if you are unsure.

Both are four-cylinder, so a full change takes four plugs.

Fitting note

Supplied pre-gapped. If you check the gap, move only the outer ground electrode. Thread in by hand, then torque to your service manual figure.
