    The NGK ILZKR7D8 is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for the 1.0 litre K10C turbo petrol engine. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement.

    The iridium fine-wire centre electrode holds a precise gap under the higher cylinder pressures a turbo engine produces, supporting consistent ignition, easier cold starts and clean throttle response.

    Note the heat range. This is a heat range 7 plug for the turbo K10C. The naturally aspirated K10C in the Celerio, Alto K10, S-Presso and Wagon R takes the ILZKR6F11 instead. If you are unsure which engine you have, message us.

    The K10C is a three-cylinder, so a full change takes three plugs.

    01 Does the NGK ILZKR7D8 fit my Maruti Fronx?

    Yes, if yours is the 1.0 litre K10C turbo from 2023. The naturally aspirated Fronx 1.2 takes the ILZKR6F11 instead.

    02 How many spark plugs do I need?

    The K10C is a three-cylinder engine, so a full change takes three plugs.

    03 Does it fit the Toyota Taisor?

    Yes, the Urban Cruiser Taisor with the K10C turbo engine uses the same plug.

    04 Why heat range 7 and not 6?

    Turbocharged engines run hotter and at higher cylinder pressure, so they need a colder plug. Do not substitute a hotter heat range.

    05 Is it pre-gapped?

    Yes. Fit it as supplied and avoid levering against the iridium centre electrode.
