The NGK ILZKR6F11 is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for Maruti Suzuki's current K12N and K10C petrol engines. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement, not a modification that alters how the engine runs.

The fine-wire iridium centre electrode fires a tighter, more focused spark than a conventional nickel plug. On a daily-driven car that means easier cold starts, a steadier idle and cleaner combustion, and because iridium resists erosion it holds its gap far longer.

How many do I need? The K12N is a four-cylinder and takes four plugs. The K10C is a three-cylinder and takes three.

Older Maruti engines take a different plug. If your Swift or Dzire predates 2019, or you run a K12B or K15B, this is not your plug. The newest Swift and Dzire on the Z12E engine, from 2024 to current, take the ILKAR7Z11S. Send us your model and year and we will confirm.

Fitting note

Supplied pre-gapped. If you check the gap, move only the outer ground electrode. The iridium centre electrode is a fine wire and will break if you lever against it. Thread in by hand, then torque to your service manual figure.
