NGK ILKAR7Z11S Laser Iridium Spark Plug for Maruti Swift 1.2 & Dzire 1.2 (Z12E, 2024 to current)

The NGK ILKAR7Z11S is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for Maruti's newest Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement.

The iridium fine-wire centre electrode fires a tighter, more focused spark than a conventional plug, giving easier cold starts, a steadier idle and cleaner combustion, with a long service life because iridium holds its gap.

Fitment guidance

• Maruti Swift 1.2L Z12E, May 2024 to current
• Maruti Dzire 1.2L Z12E, November 2024 to current

Check your engine before ordering. Maruti has used three different 1.2 engines in the Swift within a few years. The Z12E is the newest. Cars on the K12N, from June 2019 and February 2021 to current, take the ILZKR6F11. Older K12B cars take a different plug again. Send us your registration year and we will confirm.

The Z12E is a three-cylinder, so a full change takes three plugs.

Fitting note

Supplied pre-gapped. If you check the gap, move only the outer ground electrode. Thread in by hand, then torque to your service manual figure.
