BMC FB01180 Performance Air Filter

A washable, reusable panel filter for the current generation of Maruti Suzuki K-series petrol engines. It drops straight into the factory airbox, so there is nothing to cut, drill or re-route.

The element is multi-layer oiled cotton gauze rather than paper. It flows more air than the OEM element while filtering down to 7 microns, and it is built to be cleaned and re-oiled rather than replaced every service.

Fronx 1.0 Boosterjet and Taisor 1.0 Boosterjet (K10C turbo). The turbo cars use a different airbox.
Swift and Dzire from 2024 onwards (the new Z-series three-cylinder). BMC coverage for these two ends at the 2024 model year.
Celerio 1.0. Takes BMC FB665/01.
Vitara Brezza 1.3 diesel. Takes BMC FB975/20.

01 Will this fit my car?

It fits the 1.2 and 1.5 K-series petrol cars: Baleno, Fronx, Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, XL6, Swift and Dzire from 2022 onwards, plus the Toyota Hyryder, Glanza, Taisor and Rumion twins. It does not fit the 1.0 Boosterjet turbo cars. Send us your registration number and we will help you confirm.

02 Do I need to modify anything to fit it?

No. It is a flat panel that drops straight into the factory airbox in place of the paper element. No cutting, drilling or re-routing.

03 Is the filter washable and reusable?

Yes. The oiled cotton gauze element is cleaned and re-oiled rather than replaced, so it lasts the life of the car. Clean roughly every 15,000 to 20,000km, sooner if you drive in heavy dust.

04 What does it do that a stock paper filter does not?

It flows more air than the OEM paper element while still filtering down to 7 microns, which gives a cleaner throttle response. You also stop buying a new filter at every service.

05 Is this a genuine BMC filter?

06 How fast is delivery, and what if it arrives damaged?
