The part most buyers miss: certification

This is where the Axor range genuinely separates, and it is worth more of your attention than colour or graphics. Not every helmet in the line carries the same approvals:

ECE 22.06 is the current European standard and the most demanding of the three. It adds rotational-impact testing and tests more impact points and speeds than its predecessor. ECE, DOT and ISI approved, dual EPS liner, dual visor. The sensible single-helmet answer if your riding mixes commuting, highway and light trail.

Buy the Apex if budget leads

The Axor Apex starts at ₹5,497 and still gives you ISI and DOT approval, a dual visor with a retractable internal sun visor, multi-density EPS and a micrometric buckle that is genuinely easier to operate in gloves. It is the value pick of the range, not a compromise on legality.

Buy the Ultimo (Dominator) if the fit is what works for you

Its real advantage is the size range, XS 54 cm all the way to XXL 64 cm, wider than the rest of the line. If you have struggled to find a helmet at either end of that spread, this is the one in the range most likely to fit you, and fit is not a minor consideration. A helmet that fits properly and is certified beats a better-certified helmet that sits wrong on your head.

Getting the size right

Measure your head circumference with a soft tape roughly one inch above your eyebrows, around the widest part of your skull, and match that to the size chart on the product page.
