    NGK Laser Iridium. The iridium step up from the conventional ZFR6T-11G that NGK lists for the Volkswagen Polo and Vento.

    The fine-wire iridium centre electrode fires a sharper, more focused spark. In everyday driving that means easier cold starts, a steadier idle and cleaner combustion, and because iridium barely erodes the gap stays where the factory set it.

    Driving a 1.0 TSI? This is not your plug. The 1.0 TSI is a newer engine that takes a 12mm plug, not this 14mm one. The VW Polo, Vento, Taigun and Virtus 1.0 TSI and the Skoda Kushaq, Slavia, Rapid and Kylaq 1.0 TSI all take the NGK IKER7A8EGS, also on our site.

    Polo 1.0 MPI (non-turbo, 2020 to 2022)? A different engine with a different plug. Message us before ordering.

    01 Does the NGK IZFR6P7 fit my VW Polo?

    Yes, the Polo 1.2 and 1.6, and the Polo GT TSI 1.2 built from 2013 to 2019, engine code CBZB. The Vento 1.6 uses the same plug.

    02 I have a 2016 Polo GT TSI. Is this the right plug?

    Yes. Every GT TSI 1.2 sold in India up to 2019 runs the EA111 CBZB engine, and this is the iridium plug for it. The OE part it replaces is Volkswagen 03F905600A. You need four.

    03 How do I tell a 1.2 TSI from a 1.0 TSI?

    The 1.2 TSI GT was sold until 2019, the 1.0 TSI replaced it from 2020. If you are unsure, send us your registration year and we will confirm before you order.

    04 What is the conventional equivalent?

    NGK lists the ZFR6T-11G as the conventional plug for these cars. The IZFR6P7 is the iridium step up from it.

    05 How many spark plugs do I need?

    The GT TSI 1.2 takes four. The Polo 1.2 three-cylinder takes three. Check yours or message us with your model, variant and year.

    06 Is this a genuine NGK plug?

    Yes, genuine NGK laser iridium, the part NGK India lists for the Polo and Vento.

    07 Will it fit my Taigun, Virtus, Kushaq or Slavia?

    No. The 1.0 TSI cars take the IKER7A8EGS. Message us with your model and we will point you to the right part.

    08 Is it pre-gapped?

    Yes. Fit as supplied and avoid levering against the iridium centre electrode.
