    The NGK DPR7EIX-9 Iridium IX spark plug is the iridium fitment for Yamaha's older-generation commuter singles — the G5, Crux and Libero family. It's the NGK-recommended iridium plug for these engines, a direct OEM-spec replacement.

    The 0.6mm fine-wire iridium centre electrode fires a tighter, more focused spark than copper, giving you easier starts, steadier idle, and cleaner running. Iridium holds the gap far longer than a standard plug, so the spark stays consistent and you ride further between changes.

      I got this for my Yamaha G5, and the difference is noticeable. Morning starts are instant now, and I feel a slight improvement in fuel economy, even on bad roads. The engine feels more refined, and it runs smoothly without any misfires.

      I ride a Yamaha Crux, and after fitting this spark plug, I can feel the refinement in the engine. Cold starts are easier, and the throttle response is cleaner, especially at low speeds. The throttle feels sharper now.

      I have a Yamaha Libero, and I fitted this spark plug to it. The idle is steadier, and the throttle response is cleaner at low speeds. Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance.
