NGK Iridium IX. A 0.6 mm fine-wire iridium centre electrode in place of a conventional one, firing a sharper, more focused spark.
On a 125 cc commuter that means easier starts, a steadier idle and cleaner running, and iridium holds its gap far longer than the plug it replaces.
Pre-gapped at 0.9 mm. Direct fit, nothing to adjust.

BS4 or BS6? The 125 cc Hero bikes changed plug specification between the two. This is the BS4 part. If your Super Splendor or Glamour is BS6 it takes the CPR7EAIX-9 instead. Check the registration year, or send us the chassis number and we will confirm before you order.
Also used on
Royal Enfield UCE twin-spark 350 and 500 — this is the second of the two plugs that engine takes. We sell it as a complete two-plug kit with the BPR5EIX, which is the easier way to buy it.
Honda CB350 owners: this is the correct plug for your bike too, but order it from the Honda CB350 listing so the fitment notes match your motorcycle.

Fitting
Clean around the plug well before removing the old plug so nothing drops into the cylinder, then unscrew with a 16 mm plug socket.
Thread the new plug in by hand first, then torque to the figure in your manual. Do not re-gap it — the 0.9 mm gap is factory set and the fine iridium tip damages easily.
