The BMC Crankcase Vent Filters (FBSA Vent Series) are miniature cotton gauze filters designed for crankcase breather outlets — the vents that expel blow-by gases from the engine's crankcase. Fitting a BMC filter on the breather outlet prevents oil mist and contaminants from being discharged openly into the engine bay, while maintaining unrestricted crankcase ventilation pressure.

Used in open-breather crankcase setups on modified engines, catch-can vent outlets, and any application where a filtered breather is needed at the final vent point.
