    Description

A focused beam, a longer night

The Outlander is a 3.5 inch auxiliary light built around a dual projector optic. Where a reflector scatters light, a projector collects it and places it, so the 12,000 lumens on offer land on the road ahead instead of the hedgerow beside it. Useful throw reaches roughly 450 metres.

An integrated daytime running light keeps the motorcycle visible in traffic, and the low and high beam patterns cover the shift from town to open highway.

The body is die cast aluminium with IP68 sealing, rated from -40°C to +80°C, using 3535 LED chips at 6000K.

    Specifications

      Pros and cons

      Pros
      • Projector optics place light on the road instead of scattering it into the verge
      • Roughly 450 metre throw gives real warning time at highway speed
      • Integrated DRL gives daytime presence without a separate lamp
      • 110W draw is easier on a smaller charging system than the 120W Valkyrie
      • IP68 sealed die cast aluminium body rated -40C to +80C
      Cons
      • 12,000 lumens sits a step below the Valkyrie if raw output is what you want
      • Projector beams are narrow, so pair with a wider lamp if you want spread as well as throw
      • Still needs a relay
      • a fused feed to wire safely
      • Mounting hardware for your specific crash guard or bar is not included
      Common Questions 5
01 What does a projector optic actually change?

A reflector spreads light outward, a projector collects it and places it. The result is a tighter, further reaching beam with less light wasted into the hedgerow, which is why the Outlander throws to roughly 450 metres on 12,000 lumens.

02 Should I choose the Outlander or the Valkyrie?

Take the Outlander for a focused long throw beam and a lower 110W draw. Take the Valkyrie for maximum output at 13,200 lumens and an amber DRL. Many riders run a projector for distance and a reflector for spread.

03 Do I need a relay to wire these?

Yes. Run them through a relay on a fused feed rather than tapping the battery directly.

      04 Is it waterproof?

Yes, IP68 rated, dust tight and sealed against water immersion, with an operating range of -40C to +80C.

05 Will it fit my motorcycle?

It mounts universally to a crash guard, bar or bracket. Hardware for your specific setup is not included. Get in touch with your bike model for fitment guidance.
