The header changes how it leaves the cylinder, and the two were meant to work together. It is a mandrel-bent stainless steel single piece with a wider bore than the stock item. Less restriction ahead of the silencer lets the engine breathe more freely under load, which shows up as a cleaner pickup through the mid range and a fuller note. Paired with a Red Rooster silencer such as the Pegasus RS it completes the system rather than a slip-on. Finish is preference alone. Polish, Black and Matte share the same bore, bends and mounting, so the choice changes the look and nothing else.
