Valvetronic Exhaust End Can with Remote for Cars (Vacuum-Operated, 38 mm)

Two exhaust notes, one button

The end can carries a butterfly valve inside the housing and a vacuum actuator to move it. Closed, exhaust gas takes the baffled route and the car stays quiet. Open, it takes the free flow path and the note fills out. A wireless remote switches between the two from the driver's seat, with no cabin wiring and no app to keep updated.

Fitment is by measurement, not by model

This is a universal market part, sized by tail pipe outer diameter rather than by car model. The inlet takes a 38 mm tail pipe, so the number that decides whether it fits is the one on your tape measure, not the badge on the boot.

A 38 mm tail pipe is common on the Volkswagen Polo, Vento and Virtus and on cars of similar exhaust sizing. If yours measures something else, this is the wrong size, and it is better to know that here than after it ships. Measure the outside of your existing tail pipe before ordering. Each order is one end can. A single exit car needs one. A twin exit car needs two, so the left and right sides match.

Fitting

Installation means cutting into the tail section and routing the vacuum line and actuator, so this is a workshop job rather than a bolt on. Professional installation is recommended.

On noise

Exhaust noise is regulated in India, and the limits apply to the car as it is driven rather than to any single part. The closed position is the quieter of the two. Check the rules that apply to your vehicle and use the valve accordingly.
