The Red Rooster Header Pipe for the Super Meteor 650 is the front half of the system. A silencer changes how the exhaust leaves the bike. The header changes how it leaves the cylinder, and on a parallel twin that is where most of the restriction sits.
It is a mandrel-bent stainless steel header with a wider bore than the stock item. Less restriction ahead of the silencers lets the engine breathe more freely under load, which shows up as a cleaner pickup through the mid range and a fuller note. Paired with a Red Rooster silencer such as the Astral Pro it completes the system rather than a slip-on.
Finish is preference alone. Polish, Black and Matte share the same bore, bends and mounting, so the choice changes the look and nothing else. Light blueing near the head is normal on stainless steel after heat cycles and does not affect strength or performance.
Fitment guidance
Red Rooster lists this header pipe against the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
The 650 twins share an engine but not this header. The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 use the Stellar header instead. If you are unsure, message us before ordering and we will help you confirm it.

Installation
The header bolts on at the factory mounting points, so there is no cutting or welding. We still suggest a workshop fit, mainly to get alignment and torque right at the head, which is what keeps the joint sealed over time.
