Red Rooster Blaze Header Pipe for Triumph Speed 400, Speed T4 & Scrambler 400X

The Red Rooster Blaze Header Pipe is the second half of the Blaze system. Where the Blaze silencer changes how the exhaust exits, the header changes how it leaves the cylinder, and the two were designed to work as one.

It is a mandrel-bent stainless steel single-piece header with a wider bore than the stock item. Less restriction at the front of the system means the engine breathes more freely under load, with a cleaner throttle pickup through the mid range and a fuller note. Fitted alongside the Blaze silencer it completes the full system rather than a slip-on.

The finish is a matter of preference alone. Polish, Black and Matte are identical in bore, bends and mounting, so the choice changes the look and nothing else. Some blueing near the head is normal on stainless steel after heat cycles and does not affect strength or performance.

Installation

The header bolts on at the factory mounting points, so no cutting or welding is involved. We still recommend a workshop fit, mainly to get the alignment and torque right at the head, which is what keeps the joint sealed over time.
