Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a synthetic brake fluid based on glycol ethers, alkyl polyglycols, and glycol ether esters, designed for reliable braking performance in both cars and motorcycles across all operating conditions. It is suited for disc and drum brake systems, hydraulic clutch systems, and ABS-equipped vehicles where a DOT 4 specification fluid is prescribed.

The formulation carries a high wet and dry boiling point, maintaining safe braking performance even after moisture absorption over extended use. Built-in corrosion inhibitors protect metallic brake components and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures, while special moisture scavengers actively resist the formation of vapour bubbles that can compromise pedal feel and stopping power.

Manufactured in Germany and approved to FMVSS 116 DOT 3, FMVSS 116 DOT 4, ISO 4925 Class 3, ISO 4925 Class 4, SAE J 1703, and SAE J 1704.
