BrakeKraft Drilled & Slotted Front Brake Discs for VW Virtus, VW Taigun, Skoda Slavia & Kushaq 1.5 TSI (BK5QP615301B)

BrakeKraft BK5QP615301B is a cross-drilled and slotted front brake disc for the 1.5 TSI versions of the VW Virtus, VW Taigun, Skoda Slavia and Skoda Kushaq. It is the same 300 mm size as the original disc, so it bolts straight on with no brackets or changes.

Price is for a pair. Supplied as a set of two, so one unit does both front wheels.

Why fit it

• Better under repeated hard braking: the holes and slots let hot gas, dust and water escape, keeping the pad in cleaner contact with the disc.
• Coated finish: the pale coating protects the hat and edge against rust, which is the first thing to go on a plain disc.
• Direct fit: 5-bolt, 300 x 24 mm, same as the original setup.

Specification

New thickness is 24 mm and the minimum is 21 mm. Once a disc reaches minimum thickness it must be replaced, not resurfaced.

Fitment guidance

Fits the 1.5 TSI cars, which run the 300 mm front disc: Virtus GT Line, Taigun GT DSG, Slavia 1.5 and Kushaq 1.5. It does not fit the 1.0 TSI, which uses a smaller 276 mm disc. Send us your registration or chassis number and we will confirm the right part before you order.

Good to know

Fit new pads along with new discs, and bed them in gently for the first 200 km. Drilled and slotted discs usually wear pads a little faster and can be slightly noisier than plain discs. That is normal for this type of disc.
