After washing your BMC cotton gauze filter with the BMC detergent, this fluid is applied to re-saturate the cotton gauze with the correct oil weight and viscosity, restoring the filter's ability to trap fine particles while maintaining maximum airflow. Using the correct BMC regeneration fluid is critical — incorrect oils (including automotive engine oil or generic filter oils) can damage the cotton gauze, block airflow, or void the filter's performance.
