E20 Fuel Protection

Every litre of petrol sold in India has been E20 since 1 April 2026. Liqui Moly E20 Additive is made for exactly that fuel. How much to use The dose is 15 ml for every 4 litres of petrol, so a full 150 ml can treats 40 litres. Close the cap firmly between uses on a bike. How to use Pour the dose into the tank just before you fill up, using the filler spout supplied on the can. The incoming petrol mixes it for you, with no shaking or measuring jug needed. How often? Liqui Moly does not set a fixed interval. For full protection, dose at every fill. At the very least, dose the tank before a vehicle stands for more than a couple of weeks, because that is when ethanol does its damage. Will it suit my vehicle? It is for petrol engines only, 2-stroke and 4-stroke, in motorcycles, scooters, cars and light commercial vehicles. The can is also marked for hybrid petrol engines. Do not use it in a diesel. Made before April 2023, and especially BS3 or BS4: your vehicle was not designed for E20, so this is the one we would treat as essential. Made from April 2023 onward: the fuel system is certified for E20, but the fuel still absorbs moisture and leaves deposits. The additive keeps injectors clean and the tank dry.
