The BMC Filter Detergent (WADET500) is BMC's official filter cleaning solution — a purpose-formulated detergent that breaks down accumulated dirt, dust, and old filter oil from the cotton gauze without damaging the fibres or the filter's structural integrity. It is the first step in every BMC filter service cycle, used before re-oiling with BMC Regeneration Fluid. Do not use household detergents, degreasers, or petrol — these can degrade the cotton gauze bonding and damage the filter permanently. The WADET500 is formulated specifically for BMC's oiled cotton media.
