NGK IZFR6K-11S Laser Iridium Spark Plug for Honda Civic 1.6 / 1.8i / 2.0i

The NGK IZFR6K-11S is the laser iridium spark plug NGK India specifies for the Honda Civic 1.6, 1.8i and 2.0i. It is a direct, like-for-like replacement.

The fine-wire iridium centre electrode fires a tighter, more focused spark than a conventional plug, giving smoother idle, cleaner combustion and better cold starts. Iridium holds its gap far longer than nickel, so ignition stays consistent well into the service interval.

Fitment guidance

Per NGK India's current application chart, IZFR6K-11S is listed for:

• Honda Civic 1.6
• Honda Civic 1.8i
• Honda Civic 2.0i

Watch the suffix carefully. Honda runs several close IZFR6K variants and they are not interchangeable. The Accord 2.4i / 3.0i and CR-V take IZFR6K-11 without the S. The City from 2008 to 2014 and Jazz 1.2 MT take IZFR6K-13. Only the Civic takes the -11S. If you are not certain which your car uses, message us with your model, variant and year before ordering.

The Civic is a four-cylinder, so a full change takes four plugs.

Fitting note

Supplied pre-gapped and should not need adjusting. If you check it, move only the outer ground electrode, never lever against the iridium centre electrode.

Thread in by hand first, then torque to the figure in your service manual.
